Zambia offers a remarkable range of waterfalls – unmatched by most countries in the world. Very few of them are officially described. A much larger number are well-kept secrets to all but its most immediate neighbours. In fact, there appears to be no end to waterfalls still waiting to be identified in Zambia!
This second volume of “Guide to little known waterfalls of Zambia” is the result of eight years of journeys into remote areas of Zambia. Whereas the first volume took many more years to compile, as it was based on the authors’ lifetime experiences, this volume shows what can be found if ones goes looking. Since the publication of volume I in 2005, the authors have been on several expeditions into remote areas of Zambia, by air, car and on foot, to map and record the many falls that we learnt of in the meantime – adding up to a total of 320 waterfalls in this volume.
