No Routing Yet: The app is currently an orientation guide (you see your location on the map as you move, but it won’t call out “turn right in 200m”). Turn-by-turn routing is a premium feature arriving in an upcoming update.

A map that works
Our cartography is designed to show the detailed information in remote areas. We focus on information that overlanders value and we do not ‘hide’ or declutter our maps. Zoom and pan the map intuitively.
Moving map mode
The map will update as you drive, choose between Track-up and North-up mode.
Verified points of interest (POI)
Overlanders care about real data. Show them the curated campsite descriptions with facilities, fuel availability, and border post operating hours.

How it works
- If you are a guide app user – be sure to log into the guide app with your Track4Africa credentials so that your purchases can be registered on our server! (ie if you have not registered on T4A yet, then do so and then log in on the app)
- Download the new Tracks4Africa App.
- Create an account if required (new users) or sign in with your existing Tracks4Africa account
- Subscribe (new users). (ie. Previous guide app users will be awarded a Base Lifetime subscription)
- Download your maps & POIs and start exploring.
- You can log into our Trip Planner with your Tracks4afria account, plan trips and sync them to your app!

- Offline turn-by-turn routing is coming.
- Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support is actively in development to get these maps onto vehicle dashboards.
Enhanced functionalities will become available as a Premium Subscription.
Already using the old Tracks4Africa Guide App?
If you previously purchased maps through our legacy Guide App, you qualify for a Lifetime Base Subscription in the new Tracks4Africa App.
Important: migrate your existing purchases
Before moving to the new app:
- Open your existing Tracks4Africa Guide App.
- Sign in to your Tracks4Africa account. This allows your previous purchases to be registered against your Tracks4Africa account.
- You can then use that account in the new Tracks4Africa App.
